
Yoga and Pranayama
Yoga is an ancient practice that encompasses physical, mental, and spiritual disciplines aimed at achieving harmony between the body, mind, and soul. A few aspects of Yoga are physical postures or Asanas to strengthen, nourish, and heal the body, breathing techniques or Pranayama to regulate energy and balance the mind, and meditation. "Pranayama is the regulation of breath, which leads to the dissolution of mental distractions." (from Patanjali's Yoga Sutra). "Inhale, and God approaches you.
